The copper trend is ever growing
Rustic, brushed copper can be added to create a more laid back luxury vibe or gleaming copper can be added in order to create a modern edge on any classic event. With this trend ever growing, this twist on a classic gold is still current and incredibly popular from last season; from invitations to table names or the jewellery on a modern bride, this metallic is here to stay.

Can it only be used in one particular time of the year?
The fantastic thing about this gorgeous metallic is that it can be used all year round in every event and season, in the winter and autumn months it can be added to create a warm, hygge atmosphere and in the spring and summer months it can be combined with neutrals to create a cool, relaxed luxury event. Personally, I adore the touches of copper because when the sunlight hits it creates a youthful glow which can be ideal for baby showers and weddings alike.

How to incorporate it in your wedding:
In event planning, it's the little touches that really make the magic, when styling the wedding for Corrine and Rich, the small details such as the copper ink on the place names, or the table names that really pulled together an overall stylish, luxury look. Touches of copper in your table scapes, can be juxtaposed with the monochromatic of marble or combined with pink and burgundy tones to explore and enhance the dimension of the colour. Brushed copper chairs can be used to integrate the laid back luxury feel to any event, combined with a brick wall and loose foliage creates the perfect combination of nonchalant and class. Copper geometric shapes are all the rage which is no surprise because they add a modern, urban feel to things such as the cake and lanterns which when combined with foliage gives a urban jungle vibe which is ideal for a modern, stylish bride. As a surrey wedding planner, this trend is here to stay with its endless possibilities of combinations for the perfect modern luxury wedding.
