The Venue

The idyllic countryside estate is situated in the heart of Oxfordshire, with its pretty manicured gardens, quintesentially British heritage and tastefully restored listed buildings. The venue boasts stylish accommodation, immaculate attention to detail and a picture perfect backdrop to Polly & Dominiks Wedding Photos.

The Dress

Polly wore a beautiful Vivienne Westwood gown, with its signature ruched waist detailing, bardot sleeves and detachable floral train. Classic & elegant with a hint of old school Hollywood glamour!

The Flowers

Polly & Dominik enlisted the help of Liz at Blue Sky Flowers to create some floral magic for their day. Keeping in line with the English garden theme, a beautiful broken arch was built at the entrance to the barn, where the ceremony was held. With bouquets made up of white & pink flowers with an abundance of surrounding foliage and the aisle was engulfed with meadow style arrangements, a sprig of lavender was used on their guest's individual place settings. But let's also not forget the incredible wisteria walkway that was perfectly in bloom for their wedding day and complimented all the floral styling to perfection! Making the most sensational aisle and bridal entrance!

The Food

Absolute Taste were the couples caterers of choice, they pride themselves in working with farmers, growers and local producers. Guests were treated to incredible canapes of monkfish skewers, chorizo scotch quail egg & wasabi salt chicken to name a few. For the wedding breakfast, the couple opted for a choice menu which included Cornish crab risotto, mushroom wellington and a trio of mini desserts. When the sun had set and guests had got the late night munchies, a hog roast was served (and you cant get much more British than that!)
