Winter Wedding in the Scottish Highlands

Whenever you think of Scotland, you immediately think of haggis, bagpipes and kilts but amongst the cliches of Scotland you also think of stunning surroundings and incredible castles and we had the honour of helping Ifey and Cameron tie the knot in Drumtochty Castle located just outside Aberdeen.

They were married in a quaint church nearby where a string quartet played and floral arrangements adorned the altar and entrance doors.

The rainy day did not dampen the love that was in the air and neither did the colour scheme for this wedding, a stunning palette of burnt orange, rust, muted and paler golds, muddy pinks and pale peachy shades matched the autumnal natural surroundings and gave a feeling of warmth which really does shine through.

The flowers were created by Barbara Smith from Wild Flowers Workshop and wow aren't they something! Wild arrangements that were classy, elegant and refined flowed throughout the locations in perfect harmony.

Sam Docker, Ifey and Cameron's photographer has really captured the true essence of this wedding, his edgy editorial style complimenting the setting and style of this winter wedding.

We loved that the bride and groom had an outfit change for the party! Embracing the bride's African heritage and family roots and embracing the orange colour scheme even more!
